This past year, while home raising my three-year old daughter who was not yet in preschool, we visited the library almost daily. Queens library offered a variety of programs that enriched my daughter's life tremendously.
We attended "Picture book Time for Preschoolers" at the Pomonok branch of Queens library where every week, there was a theme, related books, and a craft. At North Hills branch, we attended "Yoga and Me for Preschoolers", where we were up and moving and learning yoga poses. At Jamaica branch, we attended "Timeless Tales", which was a story time with a focus on animals and nature.
My daughter is now ready for pre-kindergaren, and I am very gracious to our Queens library system for giving us something educational to do every day!
