Library Photo Promotion

Excited adults in library wearing colorful sweaters

Stock photos are nice, but real libraries and the people using them are infinitely more interesting.

The American Library Association needs your help.  We need real photos of all the great things happening in libraries today to feature in our reports, fundraising efforts, on our website and social media accounts.

Submit your best library photo(s) by August 16th to be entered to win one of two $50 gift certificates to the ALA Store.

Ideas include:

  • showing the library in use
  • librarians in action
  • STEM activities
  • bookmobiles
  • citizenship-related activities
  • summer gardening
  • community/off-site outreach
  • or whatever creative thing your library is doing this year.

Review ALA’s personal data notification (PDN) before proceeding.
