Love Libraries at GenCon 2008

I Love Libraries will be exhibiting at the Gen Con gaming convention in Indianapolis. If you’re a gaming fan and are going to be at the show be sure to stop by and let us know how much you love your library at Booth #1430. We’ll have bookmarks, buttons, and a photo booth on hand for you to get a picture showing the world how much you love Gaming @ your library.

Celebrating its 41st year in 2008, Gen Con, “The Best Four Days in Gaming!” has become the largest annual consumer fantasy, electronic, sci-fi, and adventure game convention in North America. Each year gaming enthusiasts converge to share their enthusiasm for all things gaming; whether it’s tournaments, celebrity appearances, exhibit hall booths, electronic games, workshops, seminars, anime, art shows, auctions or countless other activities.

Gen Con Indianapolis will be open to the public Thursday, August 14 through Sunday, August 17, 2008. The exhibit hall will be open each day with limited hours; however gaming takes place at the convention center and at surrounding hotels 24 hours a day during the four-day event. The convention will take place at the Indiana Convention Center. A four-day badge is $75 on-site. A one-day badge is $45 on-site. Children 8 and under are free with an accompanying adult.
