About I Love Libraries

I Love Libraries is an initiative of the American Library Association (ALA), created to spread the world about the value of today's libraries. The site promotes the value of libraries and librarians, explains key issues affecting libraries, and urges readers to support and take action for their libraries.

This site is a place to learn more about the health and vitality of today's libraries, emerging trends, and current issues affecting libraries around the country, whether in public, school, academic, corporate, or institutional libraries.
